All wood was salvaged from the destruction left behind by the Sandy Storm on the beaches and boardwalks of the New Jersey coastline. A limited number are available solely using charred sections of the boardwalk and buildings damaged in the 2013 SeaSide boardwalk fire. All works are numbered in series and reflect the area that the wood was salvaged from. Each piece is conversational yet inspirational as this wood has survived to tell a story.

Beautiful new piece constructed with both Sandy salvaged wood and other historical NJ salvaged wood. First the Sandy Storm salvaged wood, all the white and blue/white wood in the wave, besides bottom piece, all salvaged from 8 Beach Bungalows in The Highlands, built in 1930, flooded during Sandy and finally brought back to life February of 2017. The frame is from painted shelving boards from a home on Schooner Lane in Mantaloking Shores. Now for the Historical New Jersey salvaged wood, bottom window wheel hinge molding from St Johns Parsonage in Elizabeth NJ est 1696. Yes, you read correct 1696. And with a storied history for sure, the background plaster lath comes from The Norwood Inn, est 1888 in Avon NJ, a staple on Jersey beaches for years. Approx 19”x13”
