All wood was salvaged from the destruction left behind by the Sandy Storm on the beaches and boardwalks of the New Jersey coastline. A limited number are available solely using charred sections of the boardwalk and buildings damaged in the 2013 SeaSide boardwalk fire. All works are numbered in series and reflect the area that the wood was salvaged from. Each piece is conversational yet inspirational as this wood has survived to tell a story.

Beautiful new anchor featuring frame and natural wood from early 1900’s interior plaster lath walls from Belmar. The wave wood and blue/teal wood all salvaged from 8 beach cottages opened 1930 in the Highlands, flooded during Sandy and rebuilt 2/17. Small grey resin near top is old Belmar Boardwalk decking destroyed during Sandy and found near 16th/Ocean. Top wood from Mantaloking Shores home demo and anchor is laser cut, hand painted and distressed. Approx 14”x18”
