All wood was salvaged from the destruction left behind by the Sandy Storm on the beaches and boardwalks of the New Jersey coastline. A limited number are available solely using charred sections of the boardwalk and buildings damaged in the 2013 SeaSide boardwalk fire. All works are numbered in series and reflect the area that the wood was salvaged from. Each piece is conversational yet inspirational as this wood has survived to tell a story.

Number 681, in the series of pieces made over the last 5+ years after Sandy. This NJ State features a white frame from a barn in Wall that lost its battle against the wind during the storm. Background natural wood is early 1900’s interior plaster lathe wall studs from Belmar. White/blue salvaged 2/17 from the The Highlands, 8 beach bungalows, built in 1930, flooded during Sandy and rebuilt in 2017. Other white wood from David St in Beach Haven West, from canal deck railings… Approx 13”x19”
