All wood was salvaged from the destruction left behind by the Sandy Storm on the beaches and boardwalks of the New Jersey coastline. A limited number are available solely using charred sections of the boardwalk and buildings damaged in the 2013 SeaSide boardwalk fire. All works are numbered in series and reflect the area that the wood was salvaged from. Each piece is conversational yet inspirational as this wood has survived to tell a story.

SALE ON ALL ART OVER $1000...  All wood salvaged from the destruction left behind by the Sandy Storm and the ongoing effort to rebuild, as well as the SeaSide boardwalk fire.  All works are one off pieces and are individually numbered.  Each piece has an attached plaque reading Sandy Storm the number in series and New Jersey.  If a piece you like has been SOLD already please contact me, on the contact page, to have another one made in a similar fashion. If you are interested in a commission piece contact me at Coreyhudsonart@gmail.com . Another in the NJ Surf State series featuring grainy grey wood in the frame from Beach Haven West. Teal wood is Avon Boardwalk bench wood salvaged in the days after Sandy. Dark Blue is from CHEP pallets salvaged from Sandy Survivors "House in a Box" charity used in relief and salvaged in Brick. Large natural grain in center is pre 1950's lumber from Belmar and white is moldings from Mantaloking Shore home demo on 4/16, on Schooner Lane. Grey on top and bottom is from Atlantic City Boardwalk from north of the Revel. Resin grey is boardwalk salvaged after Sandy from Belmar Beach.  NJ State is laser cut, painted and hand distressed. Approx 12"x18"
