All wood was salvaged from the destruction left behind by the Sandy Storm on the beaches and boardwalks of the New Jersey coastline. A limited number are available solely using charred sections of the boardwalk and buildings damaged in the 2013 SeaSide boardwalk fire. All works are numbered in series and reflect the area that the wood was salvaged from. Each piece is conversational yet inspirational as this wood has survived to tell a story.

Newest in my piece wave series, this one the first with a white frame. Frame wood is shelving from Mantaloking Shores home on Schooner Lane. Background natural wood is from interior plaster lathe wall studs from Belmar. Dark wood in frame was recently salvaged from The Norwood Inn, est 1888, in Avon. This is not Sandy salvaged wood, however, historic in its own rights. Smaller pieces include blue, blue with white from The Highlands, 8 beach bungalows, opened in 1930, flooded during Sandy and rebuilt 2/17. Brighter blue and smooth white from Beach Haven West home remodel, Dark natural and Grey blue from The Norwood Inn in Avon as well… Approxx 20”x12”
