All wood was salvaged from the destruction left behind by the Sandy Storm on the beaches and boardwalks of the New Jersey coastline. A limited number are available solely using charred sections of the boardwalk and buildings damaged in the 2013 SeaSide boardwalk fire. All works are numbered in series and reflect the area that the wood was salvaged from. Each piece is conversational yet inspirational as this wood has survived to tell a story.

^Sandy Storm Wave 622^

Sweet wave featuring natural wood in frame and wave from interior wall studs from Belmar from the early 1900’s. Background plaster lathe recently salvaged (4/18) from the Norwood Inn, built in 1888 in Avon. Not necessally damaged after Sandy, only flooded. But historical wood with a story to tell for sure. Dark blue from Brick, white is from Beach Haven West. Solid white piece is from The Highlands, 8 beach cottages built in the 1930’s, flooded during Sandy and renovated in 2017. Approx 14”x13”
