Currently looking for local South Shore, Tampa Bay and Clearwater Area reclaimed and salvaged wood. Current art work is being made with late 1800’s and early 1900’s historic shore buildings and homes, like The Norwood Inn, est 1888, in Avon, Freedmans Bakery, est 1950, in Belmar and the Asbury Park Boardwalk from 1st Ave are all being used along side of the Sandy Storm salvaged materials. Currently salvaging wood from local Florida remodels and demo sites. All works are one off pieces and are individually numbered. This first in the large scale gallery pieces contains teal wood from Avon by the Sea Boardwalk benches, Avon Boardwalk decking boards and Atlantic City Boardwalk decking boards, from north of the Revel, destroyed in Sandy. Also Frame and rough wood from pre 1950's lumber from Belmar, white trim moldings and Sandy Survivors "House in a Box" charity pallet panels used in relief from Brick. Blue and White wood from Seaside Boardwalk Sandcastle shop demo 2 1/2 years after the Storm. Black frame wood from Ocean City Christian Brothers retreat demo 1 1/2 years after Sandy. Tin from Belmar Marina parking lot debris pile shortly after storm and lazer cut core-ten rusted steel. This beast weighs over 40lbs...
