Currently looking for local South Shore, Tampa Bay and Clearwater Area reclaimed and salvaged wood. Current art work is being made with late 1800’s and early 1900’s historic shore buildings and homes, like The Norwood Inn, est 1888, in Avon, Freedmans Bakery, est 1950, in Belmar and the Asbury Park Boardwalk from 1st Ave are all being used along side of the Sandy Storm salvaged materials. Currently salvaging wood from local Florida remodels and demo sites. All works are one off pieces and are individually numbered. One of the first in the Storm & Sea Salvaged Mod Wave collections this year, featuring Sandy Storm salvaged wood as well as local early 1900’s salvaged shore home and boardwalk wood. Frame wood salvaged from early 1900’s plaster lath wall studs/beams from 11th Ave in Belmar. Bottom off white piece salvaged from mid century 5 panel doors from Asbury. Piece above salvaged from saw horses off Ortley Beach job site after Sandy. Teal is the actual Avon boardwalk bench seat 2x4’s salvaged in the days after Sandy by my buddy John, a volunteer fire fighter in Neptune. Piece below Avon bench is scrap epoxy resin piece from Bemar Pro Surf Comp in 2019. Wave wood is other side of the 5 panel door, hoever added white to right side off waves to mimic wave breaks. Approx 14”x18” inches.
