Storm and Sea Salvaged Porthole Wave
Storm and Sea Salvaged Porthole Wave
This vintage porthole is a beauty, received it from a Tug Boat operator who told me it came from a Jacobsen built Tug Boat, circa 1960 from Oyster Bay, Long Island. This alone is amazing, add salvaged wood from Spring Lake, The Highlands, Belmar, Wall and Mantaloking Shores. All teal and blue from early 1900’s moldings from The Highlands, 8 beach bungalows opened in 1930, flooded during Sandy and finally rebuilt February of 2017. Crackled white is salvaged moldings from mid century home on Worthington Ave in Spring Lake, and grey resin trek decking from pre Sandy boardwalk, destroyed during Sandy. All grey blue is salvaged from Mantaloking Shores home demo in 2015 on Schooner Lane, This piece weights over 50 lbs, and would have to be securly hung with anchor supplied. Email me if interested, pick up/delivery preferred because of weight. Approx 23”inch circle with 4 moving locking shackles.
