Currently looking for local South Shore, Tampa Bay and Clearwater Area reclaimed and salvaged wood. Current art work is being made with late 1800’s and early 1900’s historic shore buildings and homes, like The Norwood Inn, est 1888, in Avon, Freedmans Bakery, est 1950, in Belmar and the Asbury Park Boardwalk from 1st Ave are all being used along side of the Sandy Storm salvaged materials. Currently salvaging wood from local Florida remodels and demo sites. All works are one off pieces and are individually numbered. Newest in the Sandy Storm & Sea Salvaged Lighthouse Series #600. Featuring Sandy Storm salvaged wood as well as local early 1900’s historic salvaged shore home, barn and boardwalk wood. All natural wood salvaged from The Freedman’s Bakery demo in 2014 in Belmar at 8th/Main, now Beach Haus Brewery. This is also one of the pieces to include the early 1800’s historic white moldings from the 1878 constructed “Beacon House” in Sea Girt. The crackled green is exterior 2x6 from The Beacon House as well. I’ve also added a piece of Art Resin poured epoxy with alcohol ink, that I use for local surfing trophies. Tan is mid century 4 panel doors from Asbury. Lighthouse is laser cut to perfection, hand painted and distressed.
