Reclaimed Wood Works
Currently looking for local South Shore and Tampa reclaimed and salvaged wood. Still a small amount of salvaged wood from the destruction left behind by the Storm Sandy on the homes, beaches and boardwalks of the New Jersey coastline. In addition, I’m also using early 1900’s and late 1800’s historic buildings and beach home demos. The Beacon House, est 1878 in Sea Girt, The Norwood Inn, est 1888, in Avon, Asbury Park Boardwalk from 1st Ave, Freedmans Bakery, est 1950, in Belmar and early 1900’s homes from Spring Lake near Worthington Ave are a few examples of wood currently being used along side of Storm salvaged materials. All works are numbered in series and reflect the area that the wood was salvaged from. Each piece is conversational yet inspirational as this wood has survived to tell the story. Rebuild, Recycle and Remember...
