Currently looking for local South Shore, Tampa Bay and Clearwater Area reclaimed and salvaged wood. Current art work is being made with late 1800’s and early 1900’s historic shore buildings and homes, like The Norwood Inn, est 1888, in Avon, Freedmans Bakery, est 1950, in Belmar and the Asbury Park Boardwalk from 1st Ave are all being used along side of the Sandy Storm salvaged materials. Currently salvaging wood from local Florida remodels and demo sites. All works are one off pieces and are individually numbered. Newest in the Sandy Storm & Sea Salvaged Mod Wave Series #484, featuring Sandy Storm salvaged wood as well as local early 1900’s historic salvaged shore home, barn and boardwalk wood. This is also one of the first pieces to include the historic plaster lath and moldings from the 1878 constructed ‘The Beacon House” in Sea Girt. The frame is early 1900’s plaster lath from The Freedman’s Bakery demo, est 1950 at Main and 8th Ave in Belmar, the current location of Beach Haus Brewery. The blue is some of the last remaining wood from The Highlands, 8 beach bungalows opened in 1930 on John St, flooded during Sandy and finally rebuilt February of 2017. Own a piece of history, if this wood could talk, the stories it would tell… Approx 19 1/2 X 19 1/2 inches.
