Currently looking for local South Shore, Tampa Bay and Clearwater Area reclaimed and salvaged wood. Current art work is being made with late 1800’s and early 1900’s historic shore buildings and homes, like The Norwood Inn, est 1888, in Avon, Freedmans Bakery, est 1950, in Belmar and the Asbury Park Boardwalk from 1st Ave are all being used along side of the Sandy Storm salvaged materials. Currently salvaging wood from local Florida remodels and demo sites. All works are one off pieces and are individually numbered. Newest in the Sandy Storm & Sea Salvaged ShipsWheel Series #562. Featuring Sandy Storm salvaged wood as well as local early 1900’s historic salvaged shore home, barn and boardwalk wood. This is also one of the pieces to include the early 1800’s historic plaster lath wall studs from the “The Beacon House” est 1878, in Sea Girt. Middle white piece is an original railing spindle from The Beacon House as well. Grey piece near top is actual Belmar Boardwalk salvaged in the days after Sandy near 16th/Ocean. The blue/white is some of the last remaining wood from The Highlands, 8 beach bungalows opened in 1930 on Johns St, flooded during Sandy and finally rebuilt February of 2017. Teal and bigger white are mid century 4 panel doors from Asbury. I’ve also added a piece of Art Resin poured epoxy with alcohol ink, that I use for the local Belmar surfing trophies. ShipsWheel is laser cut to perfection, hand painted and distressed. Own a piece of history, if this wood could talk, the stories it would tell… Approx 18”x18.5” inches
