All wood was salvaged from the destruction left behind by the Sandy Storm on the beaches and boardwalks of the New Jersey coastline. A limited number are available solely using charred sections of the boardwalk and buildings damaged in the 2013 SeaSide boardwalk fire. All works are numbered in series and reflect the area that the wood was salvaged from. Each piece is conversational yet inspirational as this wood has survived to tell a story.

Also Atlantic City Boardwalk decking boards salvaged north of the Revel destroyed during Sandy and Belmar Boardwalk decking boards salvaged near 16th/Ocean after Sandy. Rough wood is pre 1950's lumber from Belmar and and White trim and Sandy Survivors "House in a Box" charity pallet panels used in relief from Brick.
