A limited number are available solely using charred sections of the boardwalk and buildings damaged in the 2013 SeaSide boardwalk fire. All works are numbered in series and reflect the area that the wood was salvaged from. Each piece is conversational yet inspirational as this wood has survived to tell a story.

^Seaside Boardwalk Fire NJ State^

$375.00

This piece is now available at Jetty Surf Brand in Manahawkin. Made with charred wood salvaged solely from the Seaside Boardwalk Fire on Sept 12th 2013. I was granted access to the boardwalk at Lincoln Ave, which is where the fire was stopped. All black and greenish wood is boardwalk decking boards salvaged where the backhoe tore the boardwalk up to contain the fire from spreading. These boards were new, because they were previously destroyed during the Sandy Storm and only survived one season before being burnt by the fast spreading fire. The white was 4x8 sheets of plywood found near Lincoln and the red was from Seaside amusements and rides destroyed.  Sweet Piece, not a tremendous amount of this wood left and i was the only artist with access as well... Approx. 14"x22" $20 Shipping
